What is Covered, and For How Long? Budget Computers and Kiwi Mobiles, the website owner, warrants to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) that refurbished, Ex-Leased Phones, Computers, Laptops, come with 3- Month after-sales warranty.   • After refurbished, Ex-Leased products are purchased, any external damages will not be covered under warranties, such as “Water, liquid damage, drop, high power adapters, use, electric short circuit”.
  • Brand New Peripherals and Accessories, usually come under a 1-year warranty, every product does not come with a 1-year warranty, and during purchase ask for a warranty period and precaution’s to use to cover yourself under warranty on Brand new products.

Repairing smartphones, laptops, computers, and other electronic peripherals requires limited warranties. For the parts or repairs we are adopting in our hi-tech LAB, we follow industry define protocols

Phones 90 days (i.e. approximately three months, depending on the particular part replaced) and informs the customer of any damages that may occur, depending on the brief statement in JOB-FORM, which is created once you are happy to go with repair or services, T&C.

What is Not Covered? This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the Product by Purchaser. This Limited Warranty does not cover:

(a) defects or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress, or modification of any part of the Product, including antenna or cosmetic damage

(b) equipment that has the serial number removed or made illegible;

(c) any plastic surfaces or other externally exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to normal use;

(d) malfunctions resulting from the use of Product in conjunction with accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by budget Computers and Kiwi Mobiles

(e) defects or damage from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, or adjustment;

(f) installation, maintenance, and service of Product

(g) Product used or purchased outside the NEW ZEALAND

(h) Keep your docket in a safe place and bring it with you; if a warranty claim occurs, we will not entertain it without proof of purchase.

(i) During purchase chooses your products, peripherals, and accessories very carefully, we do not accept changes of mind after purchasing, except the products, come under any fault, which has under warranty and precautions by the customer, end-user.

Note: These are second handphones, laptops, and computers. While some products may last for years, they are not new.

All Ex-Leased, refurbished, and second-hand products have all been checked and tested. If any purchased products have created technical issues in the first three months, we will fix or replace them with an equivalent. If it fails outside the three months, we will quote a repair, external impact, unnecessary viruses, or not recommended website by industry, which shows a red alert during your browsing and the hackers put versus in your smartphones, laptops, or computers, the warranty period shall be null and wide.
